As a Prompt Engineer, you will be responsible for creating, refining, and optimizing input prompts that guide the behavior of AI language models. You will work closely with AI researchers and developers to improve the quality, accuracy, and functionality of AI outputs. This role involves experimentation, testing, and a deep understanding of LLM models.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design Effective Prompts: Develop and refine prompts that deliver accurate, coherent, and contextually appropriate responses from language models.
•Analyze AI Performance: Continuously test and analyze model outputs to identify areas of improvement and refine prompt techniques.
•Collaborate with AI/ML Teams: Work closely with data scientists, AI researchers, and developers to understand the desired outcome and ensure optimal model performance.
•Experiment with Prompts: Innovate and experiment with various prompt structures and techniques to maximize AI performance across different applications.
•Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of prompt strategies, experiments, and findings to help scale the process across teams.
* Model Troubleshooting: Diagnose model failures or incorrect outputs and iteratively improve prompt accuracy.
•AI Ethics and Bias Mitigation: Ensure that prompts adhere to ethical guidelines, focusing on fairness, safety, and minimizing bias in AI outputs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
•Experience:
- 0-3 years of experience working with natural language processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, or others.
- Hands-on experience in designing, testing, and refining prompts for AI models.
•Technical Skills:
- Familiarity in programming languages such as Python but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and fine-tuning language models.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering techniques, language model behaviors, and output optimization.
•Analytical & Creative Thinking:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to designing prompts for a variety of contexts.
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply creative strategies to complex problems.
•Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain AI behavior and strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working on conversational AI, virtual assistants, or chatbots.
- Familiarity with APIs like OpenAI GPT, Cohere, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, bias, and safety guidelines.
- Proficiency with RPA tools like UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Solid understanding of programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, integration, and system workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML integration in RPA.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
