The processing of End User Communications is carried out under the instructions of the respective customer, who serves as the "data controller" or "business" (or holds a similar role as defined in applicable privacy laws). This arrangement is detailed in the services agreement between the customer and Wexa.ai, and the obligations of Wexa.ai as a "data processor" or "service provider" are outlined in said agreement and relevant data protection addendum, distinct from the terms of this policy.

Profile & Access Essentials

When you register for a Wexa.ai, we request identification details like your name, email address, and, if applicable, your company name. Your billing address is stored to facilitate service charges, compute applicable sales tax, issue invoices, and identify potential fraudulent credit card transactions. On occasion, we may utilize aggregated billing information to inform our marketing strategies.

Interactions with Our Product 

The content you upload, receive, or maintain in Wexa.ai accounts is stored on servers. This enables you to fully utilize our products. We retain this content for the duration of your active account. In the event of account deletion, we will promptly remove the content within 60 days.

Interactions on our Website 

We gather data about your browsing behavior to perform analytics and statistical assessments, including activities like conversion rate testing and exploring new product designs. This information encompasses details such as your browser and operating system versions, IP address, the web pages you visited, their loading times, and the source website that directed you to us. If you're logged into an account, these web analytics details are linked to your IP address and user account until the account becomes inactive. Advertisements & Cookie Usage

Wexa.ai occasionally displays advertisements on various third-party platforms. Users who click on our ads will be directed to the Wexa.ai site. Where permitted by law, we may load a script from an ad company onto their browsers, setting a third-party cookie. This allows us to share information with the ad network, evaluating the effectiveness of our ads—for instance, determining which ad was clicked, the triggering keyword, and whether specific actions, like clicking a button or submitting a form, were taken.

We also employ persistent first-party cookies and some third-party cookies to store preferences, simplify the usage of our applications, and support certain analytics.

We provide optional desktop and mobile applications for certain products. Due to the design of the platforms, our apps typically need your consent to access features like contacts, calendar, camera, and other privacy-sensitive aspects of your device. Granting consent is always optional, and our apps will operate without it, although some features may be restricted. There are a few exceptions, such as:

Content Deletion in Your Product Accounts

 In many of our applications, you have the option to move content to the trash. Any content you trash in your active product accounts will be retained in an accessible trash can for approximately 25 days (duration may slightly vary by product). Following this period, the trashed content becomes inaccessible via the application, and retrieval becomes impossible. The trashed content may persist on our active servers for an additional 30 days, with potential copies held in backups of our application databases for up to another 30 days. Overall, any content trashed in your product accounts should be completely removed from all our systems and logs within 90 days.

If you opt to cancel your account, your content will promptly become inaccessible and is expected to be completely purged from our systems within 60 days. Retention of Data 

 We retain your information for the duration required for the purposes for which it is processed. The duration of retention is influenced by the reasons for collecting and utilizing the information and your preferences. Subsequently, we may delete and/or aggregate the data. Additionally, we may retain and utilize this information as necessary to fulfill our legal obligations, settle disputes, and enforce our agreements.
